Nigel Farage unfathomably makes his 32nd Question Time appearance tonight. This drinking game might get you through it
The last leader but five of a party of a party with no MPs and which controls no councils will take up his regular seat tonight on the BBC’s flagship current affairs show.
His appearance has sparked a backlash on social media, with some wondering if the Question Time studio is Ukip’s only safe seat.
So to get New European readers through it, we’ve created a drinking game to numb the pain of listening to the seven-time failed MP perform his greatest hits once again.
The rules, such as they are… One phrase: A pint of a good old-fashioned British ale, made at a British brewery, in a glass with a crown emblem and a name like Old Scrote Complete a line: Line your stomach with what Farage would call a PFS – a Proper ***ing Supper – a Scotch egg washed down with a bottle of supermarket red wine Complete the board: Bad luck! You’ve passed the initiation and are now Ukip’s new leader.
Appearing alongside Farage on tonight’s Question Time are Conservative arch-Remainer Ken Clarke, Labour’s shadow Northern Ireland secretary Owen Smith, businesswoman and Apprentice alumna Michelle Dewberry, who has defended Farage’s appearance, and Blue Peter presenter Radzi Chinyanganya.
