Nigel Farage has addressed Danny Dyer’s comments in which he called the former UKIP leader a ‘pr*ck in a suit’ who had now ‘lost his voice’.
Actor Danny Dyer restated his political views in an interview with the Big Issue where he express sympathy for prime minister Theresa May, and slammed both Boris Johnson and Nigel Farage.
Dyer branded UKIP’s Nigel Farage ‘another pr*ck in a suit’ and expressed his amazement that in an era of food banks the country is too preoccupied by Brexit.
He told the magazine: ‘Theresa May, bless her, just got that job by default.’
‘Boris Johnson running around with his stupid haircut spouting b******s.
‘Young people look and think: ‘If these are the people running the country, why shouldn’t I go and loot and riot?”
‘They just don’t give a f***. This us against them-type vibe has got worse.
‘We are living in an age of food banks. How the f*** did that happen? Seriously.’
Danny Dyer’s political views first came to fruition in an interview with Good Morning Britain hosts Susanna Reid and Piers Morgan where he attacked David Cameron for running away from Brexit after a miscalculated move to call the EU referendum.
In the new interview he expanded further on his comments about Cameron and also attacked Nigel Farage.
‘[Politicians] are floundering around. They have been given this thing called f*cking Brexit because of one man.
‘One man. Who we voted in to be our prime minister, who purely for his own ego decided to call a referendum just to get rid of Nigel Farage.
‘Farage, another pr*ck in a suit who tapped into something – and I suppose it is that white working-class, middle-age man who lost his voice slightly.
‘He tapped into what he felt maybe they wanted to say and twisted it. He got a bit of a following, so Cameron decided to call a referendum just to get him.’
He added: ‘It backfired on him didn’t it? And what does he do? He f*cks off. He doesn’t like the way it went and he f*cked off.’
On his radio show Nigel Farage addressed Dyer’s comments and invited him on to the programme.
He said: ‘Now Danny Dyer, who plays Mick Carter in the BBC One popular soap Eastenders, he’s got a lot of political views and he’s very upset with David Cameron. He said that ‘we voted him in as PM but for his own ego he called a referendum to get rid of that Nigel Farage’.
‘He then goes on: ‘Farage is another’ can’t pronounce it it’s too rude ‘in a suit. Boris goes around talking’ too rude, can’t pronounce it.
Farage continued: ‘If you’ve really got some strong views on Brexit, and the players involved, we’d love to talk to you about it here on LBC.
‘But if you’re going to swear all the time it isn’t going to work or impress anybody.
‘I’m not just saying that because you said rude words about me, I don’t really care.’
